Special Guests: Former Assemblyman Ted Lempert and Rita Bosworth, Founder of Sister District Project

Join us as former California Assemblyman Ted Lempert interviews Rita Bosworth, the founder and visionary of Sister District Project, and learn about a nationwide effort to harness the energy and expertise of volunteers in deeply blue (or red) places and create a network of local teams to support winnable state legislative races across the United States that are strategically important for Democrats. The purpose of Sister District Project is to ensure that all Americans have equal representation and our government works for all people, not just the minority in power.

This event is a fundraiser for Kathy Tran, one of 14 candidates that Sister District is supporting for state legislature races this year. Kathy is running for the the VA42 seat of the Virginia House of Delegates in November 2017.
